Project Area: Route 34 Flyover Bridge
Project Scope: Contract E2 consists of the construction of the I-95 NB to Route 34 WB 'flyover' bridge as well as interchange construction of I-95/I-91/Route 34.
A second lane was added between I-91 SB and I-95 SB. To accommodate the new two-lane interstate-to-interstate connection the Sargent Drive ramp at Exit 46 will be relocated appromimately 1500 feet to the west.

Progress Summary:
Construction Activities for September 2011 included:
- Opened new 4th operational lane on I-95 SB between Interchange 47 and Ella Grasso Boulevard (Exit 45).
- Continued sanitary sewer construction on Water, Franklin and Chestnut Streets.
- Began contract cleanup work and punch list items.
- Contract completion is currently forcasted for November 29, 2011.
